In 1960 Gino Marchi, father of the current owner Massimo, bought the villa and the cellar with the goal to produce wines and olive oil of quality mixing the innovation and the tradition.
La Querce estate is located in the heart of the hills around Florence in the production area of Chianti Colli Fiorentini.
The grapes cultivated are Sangiovese, the most planted, Canaiolo, Colorino and Merlot; few years ago they started a conversion to became an organic wine estate.
