Raina

Our story begins in 2002 when Fabrizio Mariani buys 12ha and an ancient farmhouse in Turri of Montefalco; “Raina” because was the name of the previous owner. We proudly be a biodynamic winery; in the vineyards and in the cellar we don’t use any kinds of chemical products. In “Campo di Raina”, “Campo di Colonello” and “Le Pretelle” vineyards we grow Sagrantino and Grechetto grapes; “Campo della Gobba” vineyard we grow Sangiovese and Syrah grapes and in “Le Campette” vineyard we grow Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot and Trebbiano Spoletino grapes. To aging our wine we use steel tanks, cement tanks and big oak barrels: our wines are not clarified or filtered.
